Dancing Maytag washer

I have a Maytag Model A9700 washer that is very likely to dance all over the laundry room, regardless of how carefully we load it, and even if we re-arrange the load in mid-dance.

I've checked level of machine...it is ok.
I've raised and lowered the back of the machine to loosen or adjust the rear legs, but no effect.

Machine sits on sheet vinyl flooring and slides around easily, especially when spinning, however this was not a problem in the past on the same floor.

Any suggestions?

thanks for your help.

Jim

Trying to remember dose this washer have 6 springs hold tub to base? These had a problem with springs and Damper pad. Need to replace both. If the washer I am thinking of it is not worth putting to much money in it.
Not to hard if you have 2 men to do job.

no pugs this is the older "real" maytag style with 2 belts.

see if you can find a service manual online for this thing, one for models starting with LAT would work too. i dont have a ton of experience with this one

if the damper pad is worn out the tub and milk stool will be more difficult to slide on the base.
