Dishwasher electrical

Quick question...

I have a dishwasher that is on its own curcuit (no recepticle, wired straight to panel)

Can I put a garbage disposal on the same circuit?

My hope was that I can run the existing dishwasher wire to a new recepticle under the sink. Then, Add a new wire from the dishwasher to plug into the recepticle, and also plug in a new garbage disposal to that recepticle.

Would this be against code?

I dont see anything wrong with that. theres no code that requires the DW to be on its own circut.
