Help, my LG front load washer won't stop running!
I have a LG, WM2016CW, front load washer that will not stop. I put a queen size comforter, one pair of sweat pants, a sweat shirt, and one t-shirt. It got stuck on the 10 minute mark and keeps going. I have stopped it for over a minute, then pressed the spin cycle, it registers 14 min and when it gets to the 10 min. mark, it keeps on going at the 10 min. does not change. I cannot find the owners manuel. I bought it last Fall from Sears.

I agree to call Sears if it is still under warranty.
In the meantime those washers have a processor and it is not uncommon to have to kill the power to reboot a processor controlled device.
Try pulling the plug, leave it unplugged for a min or so and try it again.
This is why we just bought a mechanical timer Maytag from Sears.
I have better things to do with my time than messing with electronics in a washing machine!

Thank you all. I called Sears and they said this super capacity can only handle a Queen comforter and nothing else. I pulled the sweat pants, sweat shirt and t-shirt out and it worked fine. They also said that the comforter may need to be re-positioned sometimes. Again, thank you.

The inertia sensor detects excessive vibration.
The washer will not enter *high speed spin* and the display will stall.
Add one heavy towel to the tub.
Power On
Select SPIN SPEED to *high*
Wait until the display reads (9) minutes remaining
Using the *wrenchette* provided with all new LG washers--level either of the front legs until most or all vibration/shaking has stopped. Lock the leveling legs.
