Noisy Speed Queen washer during wash cycle

My Speed Queen washer is extremely noisy only during the wash cycle. It is like a squeak, squeak, squeak noise. Is this an easy repair that we could do ourselves? What should we check? Any ideas? Help!

My brand new Speed Queen washer is also making the same sort of noise only during wash and rinse cycles. It is a high-pitched squeal like a train stopping on tracks. The model number is AWN412. The dealer's repairman replaced the pulley, but the washer is making two noises now. Next he wants to replace the transmission and brakes. Obviously he doesn't know what's wrong and he's just replaicing parts to be replacing parts. I think someone owes me a new washer since I don't think I should have to get a new transmission and brakes for a two-month old washer.
