I think I broke my dryer !!

I was in a rush this morning trying to get ready for work and find clothes for my little girl. I looked in the dryer and saw a bunch of clothes, thinking, thank the Lord my wife washed clothes. I reached in and spun the barrel by hand to flip the clothes around so I could see what all was in the drum. Evidently, I spun the barrel in the wrong direction b/c I heard a pop and it sounded like something fell on the floor beneath the dryer. I thought to myself, "Man, my wife is going to kill me!

So, I turned the dryer on and the heat turns on, but, the drum will not spin. It is a whirlpool dryer, I don't have the model number yet b/c I was rushing to get to work, But any ideas what I broke. I will tackle it tonight, taking it apart!

I'd start by trying to find whatever you heard hit the floor beneath the dryer

Thanks, I actually found that video a little while ago and learned so much from it. I am actually excited about tackling this project tonight. - Ron
