Excess detergent foam in dishwasher
Even when the detergent holder isn't completely filled, suds are clearly evident on the dishes and at the bottom of the dishwasher at the end of the cycle. It doesn't seem to drain properly either. It is a GE Nautilus built in and I am using rinsing agent. I tried to re-run the rinse cycle since I don't want soap to dry on my dishes and the dishwasher leaked foamy suds all over the floor!! HELP! What is causing this and is there a way to manually drain the dishwasher? I had to stop using dry dish washing detergent because it ended up on the dishes but now using the liquid detergent, foam stays on them.

Yes, I have used a regular brand like cascade and this time am using a "safer" non toxic brand called seventh generation. Both seem to do the same thing. LOTS of suds, actually.
