ASKO dimbulb

Not me (well, maybe me too) but the indicator light. Never seen anything like it.

Maybe 7 year old model 701 dryer (it says on the front "Butterfly Drying" but I guess you have to catch them first), no previous problems.

Now the power-on-indicator (LED? Maybe <1/8" dia) glows very weakly. Not burnt out -- that I would have understood, sorta -- but so faint you have to cup your hand around the lamp, or turn off the lights in that room.

If an LED, I thought either they worked, or they didn't. I'm tempted to ignore it, but (note that I've NEVER disassembled a major appliance; no, that's not quite true) but there's a 'panel' next to the light, where the soap loading tray is on the matching washer... if there's access and it's fixable, it might be interesting.

Anyone ever see anything like this?
