Kenmore 70 Series Electric Dryer Model Number 110.96573200

I have a Kenmore 70 Series Electric Dryer Model Number 110.96573200 it was recently working. When we went to dry another load of clothes it would not start. I have checked all breakers to make sure the breakers were not thrown, I don't know if the outlet in the wall could possibly be bad there is no light coming on inside the dryer, its as if there is no power what so ever going to the dryer. I first thought it was the thermal fuse, but since the light on the inside seems to not be coming on I am reconsidering my first thought that maybe it is something in the power area, the cord to the dryer is new and only been on the dryer for maybe a month or less. I have checked the little metal switch on the front of the dryer where the door closes on. I am kind of at a loss of where to start... Any tips tricks or ideas would be really appreciated right now!
Thank you
Michelle

Dose the door switch click when you push it? Thermo fuse could cause your problem. Thermo fuse should be closed when you ohm it.

In back of dryer right side is the heater box check both thermostats and heater element with ohm meter. All should have a circuit through them. If any open it's bad. Most likely the thermostat on top or heater element. Clean vent to outside after repair or you will have problems again.
