Kenmore series 80 Washer model 110 82980120

When my washing machine finished a load, I found that everything was wringing wet.

I guessed that the belt was loose, so I disconnected the drain hose, the water hoses and the electrical cord and took the washing machine into the living room where I could have some room to work on it.
When I tipped it up and looked under, I found that it was direct drive.
google suggested that it might be a bad lid switch so I checked that with a meter.
next google suggested a bad coupler, since the motor runs and the pump works well.
Front cover off, pump off and checked clear, and motor out of the way, the coupling looks good and the clutch is in great shape.

Whats left?
Isnt that all the mechanicals?
I havent found any way to test the timer, but is it a source of the problem?

Look inside cabinet about 6 inches up if there is a streak of oil there you need a clutch and top gearcase seal.

The only thing left is gearcase, Google this ... whirlpool gearcase assembly ... there is a video about 5 or 6 items down about dissemble and repair, PS If you can get a link to this I would appreciate Thanks
