wet lint making it into the dryer vent hose

Over the last few months, its taken longer and longer to dry loads but nothing changed. Cleaned the duct both inside and on the house where it goes vertical to the roof and there was some accumulation but no blockage or standing lint. Now lint is not accumulating in the screen but is making it to the hose and is soaking wet. I see nothing obvious.

Just removed and replaced the internal airflow path on the dryer from the blower to the screen to make sure it sealed up and testing again. Any suggestions?

This is a kenmore dryer that is probably 10 years old. model 110.60712990

All electrical parts have been checked for proper operation. Heating element starts glowing very soon after starting.

looks like it has something to do with the exhaust transition to vertical

With the hose unhooked from the house outlet it dries normally. I guess some foreign object has gotten in there. :/

Darn near all of the time when a dryer is taking longer than it used to, the problem is something obstructing the vent
