dishwasher not filling with water
I recently replaced a discharge hose on my "Whirlpool Quite II" dishwasher and now the water won't fill the dishwasher when it starts. The machine is only 6 months old but the reason the hose needed to be replaced was because of a very impolite rat. Any ideas?

Did you get one of those flood safe hoses? They shut off if there is a leak. I believe they need to be installed one way. Also they will shut off if you open the valve to the appliance too fast. You need to disconnect and reconnect then open the valve slowly.
If not the above then the only other reason would be the shut off valve. If old sometimes the internal washer comes apart and cloggs the line.
Or the seloniod on the washer is faulty. Do you here a click at the washer when its trying to fill.
