Maytag Neptune Model MLE2000AYW Stack set Dryer Problems
I have a Maytag Neptune stack washer and dryer. My dryer when turned on is making a squealing sound and sometimes very loudly. How do I replace the bushing and belts on the dryer part. Also my timer on the dryer part stopped working. It will dry clothes without a problem it just will not turn off automatically.

Have only seen that unit once before. UNPLUG DRYER FIRST If I remember right dryer comes apart by taking 4 screws from door area and front comes off. After that there are four more screws to take front . reach in and loosen belt LOOK AT BELT ROUTING FIRST take drum out. Idler usually squeaks but lightly oil all rollers and idler. May have to replace idler wheel. Look for rust stains around rollers.
