I have a #10655606400 - KENMORE ELITE Refrigerator and the ice maker has stopped working. I can see where there is a rubber tube thas hangs down from the top of the freezer cabinet has frozen ice in it. This tube is where the water comes from to fill the ice maker. I have removed the ice maker in order to allow it to thaw and I have broken the hanging ice from the tube. However, I am not sure how far up the tube the ice is frozen nor do I know why it would have frozen in the first place. I cannot figure out how to remove the tube since it is in the top of the freezer cabinets and there is not screws to remove it.
Suggestions on how to get the maker working again?

Your selenoid may be bad. Turn the water valve for the ice maker off. There should be screws on the back of the refridge that hold the ice maker in. Sometimes from inside the freezer also. I would replace the whole icemaker. They are a PITA if you just try to change individual parts.
