kenmore 80 series clothes washer wont drain/smells hot
My kenmore 80 series heavy duty model # 110.92281100 isnt working.
The washer made a funny noise during the wash like it was working too hard/heavy load.. it was a small load
Started to smell hot.
Timer knob moved to correct setting, but wont drain. just buzzes.

Sounds like you have a sock stuck in water pump. Disconnect pump from motor and see if it runs. Let us know if you need help doing this.

here is a link to cabinet removal, It is for drive link but just take cabinet off and unclip water pump from motor (leave hoses on) Will the washer agitate now? if not you can put washer in agitate to see if it runs otherwise you will have to jump lid switch to try ( jump 2 wires not colored green)
