I have a Kenmore Laundry Dryer that stops after running just a short while. I can let it cool down and it will start again. It is a Kenmore 400, Model: 110.68432700, Serial #: MU4103911, Type: DWJR-ELE-2406028-FM54. It is an intermittent problem, but it will always start again if I let it cool down. It sounds to me like a thermostat or heating element, but I don't have the experience or knowledge to know for sure. I hope someone can help tell me what it is and how to go about repairing it. It is only 3 years old. Thanks, everyone. Larry

Sounds like a motor problem do you have to wait a hour or so before it will start? Does it make a hum sound before it starts?

No it does not make any sound. You only have to wait a few minutes. It seems like maybe 5 minutes it's ready to run again. The motor is super quite. I checked the vent and it is not clogged and has very good air movement. The vent line behind the dryer is not restricted in any way.

You have a very uncommon problem. Look in back of dryer for a loose power cord 1st.unplug dryer 1ST There are no other heat related safety fuses that reset. You may have A LOOSE CONNECTION AND THEY ARE HARD TO FIND.
