Maytag Dependable Care Top Loader Washer
My Maytag Washer spins while in the wash cycle thereby throwing water out of the tub onto the floor. I believe there is a problem with the agitator, althought the agitator seems to be functioning.

Need model # , Couple of quick things I can think of 1 Pulley assy. under washer needs lube 2 transmission bad.

Maytag Dependable Care Top Loader Washer
Model # Maytag LAT9416AAE. If I put downward pressure on the agitator, it stops the spinning and the washer works normally. I was thinking, maybe the clutch.
