Maytag washer
will not stay in balance when spinning??

Believe to have purchase around 1989
I know there will an occasional unbalance and it has
worked fine for many years. Now you can not wash a full
load with out the machine walking two feet.
The three springs on the bottom of the tub are in place.

Make sure all 4 feet are solid on floor, Lean down on front corners and make sure no movement. Spring may be getting weak? not a usual problem with your washer. Look for any oil under washer. If there needs a transmission, Not cost affective to replace.
