Kenmore Model 110 Washer won't spin - not the lid switch

My Kenmore model 110 top load washer stopped spinning on the final cycle. However, if I push on the "Wash Action" selector button, it starts spinning. Do I need to replace the Wash Action switch?

Post MODEL # NEED TO SEE WHAT SWITCH YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Most Kenmore washer start with 110. Does this washer have a touch panel?

No touch panel, it's probably 12 years old. Full model number is 11092588810.

Model # did not work put I think you have one that has 4 knobs and timer on panel. I think you are talking about speed control switch usually has about 5 or 6 positions on it. 1st open console 2 screws under 2 plastic covers on front sides of console. take scre3ws out and lift and pull to you.It will hinge up and over. Make sure the wires are plugged in good. If they are you most likely need a switch.

Now I am trying to figure out how to remove the speed control switch. I cannot see what is holding it in place. Do I need to remove all of the knobs from the front panel to get the mounting board loose?

FINALLY! If anyone needs to replace one of the control switches on a Kenmore washer, simply remove the two screws holding the control panel to the washer and flip it up. Remove the knob from the front and the wire harness from the back of the switch, and then, while prying back the locking tab on the top of the switch, turn the switch 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. It pops right out!
