Maytag dryer won't stay running
Here's my problem, i have a Maytag Ensignia quiet series 200 that runs for 20 sec. and shuts off. Motor spins freely,voltage is good. It started doing it all of a sudden. The buzzer isn't going off when it stops either. It's like the timer isn't working. Could it be in the circut board or the control knob itself? any help would be great.

Have never run into your problem, Does the motor make a hum or groan noise before it starts? The timer is a electronic control that maybe going bad but not sure. When it stops try lightly tapping around timer area sometimes if bad part will restart.

I had a start problem once with a Maytag dryer I had and by simply replacing the $5.00 start button all was solved. At the time I was guessing the timer at first also, but replaced the botton first as I couldn't find anything wrong, and it turned out that's all it was.
