Whirlpool Cabrio Automatic Washer (unbalanced)

Please help me! If any one can. My problem is my washer. When it is in spin cycle it becomes unbalanced and stops, even when I redistribute the load. This happens even if it is a small load or nothing in it. Can anyone help!

Cabrio Washer Model # wtw6600sw2

I bought the washer in 2006. The only code I get is "ul".

That's "unbalanced load". I have one of the top loaders (to replace my Maytag Neptune, rip) and I find when doing larger items if it stops and displays UL, just pick up the items and let them drop in a neat pile in the middle. They will redistribute themselves pretty good from that point.
Hang in there for Pugsl, as he will have info based on the model number.

Call Whrilpool and give model # and serial # I think there is a replacement control board for your washer. Serial # is important as they know which ones they have to replace by it.

The tub just pulls out. If stuck I have had to drive the shaft out while another person lifts up on basket. If you do that you will need a new tub assy. Most times if they are stuck we order a new basket and tub. Look in owners manual I think tub is warranty for 10 years.

Question Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Tub

Hey there Pugsi !
I got the tub out ok. But I found out why it gets unbalanced so easy. There is water inside the bottom of the tub! But I can't find out how it got in there. I have turned it every way but loose, but no water comes out. Any suggestions on how to get it out? There are no openings in the bottom of the tub at all!
Thanks!

In tub or basket. Tub will have a little water near drain. Basket will have a water sound from balance ring (normal). Did you call Whrilpool about warranty or recall? Look at shaft in tub if there is a ring of rust on it the tub will need to be replaced, When you call Whrilpool tell them it makes noise in spin cycle. (loud Roaring) Should be warranty idem. Look in owners manual for warranty info. 1st page usually
