Just got a big used side by side (frs26zrfw1) cheap, I'm pretty sure my icemaker is bad. it's getting power up there, 120vac on black wire - and white wire + on one side of the connector. But it just doesn't move at all, played with the arm, manually advanced some and it does nothing. I've ordered a new icemaker. I'd like to test the water valve too to see if I need to order one of those. I see doing some googling that some icemakers have jump points on a plastic front panel where you can test the water valve by jumping it with a little wire. I have a metal front panel and no jump points. Plus the maker is pulled out now. Can I test the water valve by jumping right at the wiring harness connector? white and black are 120vac, blue and green have no voltage, are one or both of those going to the water valve? I can't seem to find a diagram or pinout of any ice maker connectors on google. I am aware of electrical safety measures that need to be taken in doing this. It has water in the door and that works, I'm guessing from looking at the thing water in the door triggers a master water valve and a door water valve, now I want to test the master + ice maker valve.

Maytag washer made squailling noise and rubber burning smells before locking up. Pulled belts off pulley and it turns easy counter clockwise but does not turn the agitator Pulley does not turn clock wise at all. Any idea if it is transmission or something else?
