Maytag washer shrill noise in spin cylce
My Maytag washer, model LAT9605AAE, is making a very loud, shrill noise when it is in the spin cycle. It started as a chirping noise now and then but has progressed into a full out loud squeal during the entire spin cycle. Could it be a bearing or maybe the clutch? I know nothing about fixing washing machines but I'm not afraid to try.

Lean washer back against wall and check belts, Take bets off and make sure the water pump pulley turns freely, Replace belts
