The washer will spin but clothes are still wet. We have to run a second or third spin cycle to get clothes ready for the dryer. I can hear the drain pump working but obviously all the water is not removed. Any ideas?

I have had one of these washers for years then upgraded to a front load and hated it. I purchased this from a friend who had it in storage for a couple of years for $25. Got it home and the spin cycle is not working. I have read many forums and watched videos and decided to check it out myself after becoming informed. There is not oil platter first off. I have replaced the clutch lining and the coupler. I just kicked it on and still will not spin in the spin cycle. I am at a loss. The tub does not even turn by hand. Please advise what could possibly be wrong after all this??? Thanks in advance, Eric
