Maytag dish washer model # MDBH950AWW
Hi all, This unit leaves dirt like sand and does not rinse well at all.I cant seem to find a filter,is there one ? Thanks Mark

There is what's called a filter shown in your machine. I left you a link to where you can see it. Click on "larger view" under the pic and it will open in a new window. Click on the pic to magnify. Use cursor to move pic around.
It's shown as a filter but I don't think it will have an effect on your problem.
Look around in that link below for pump/motor page. You'll see a flapper. This goes on to water pump to keep debris from coming back into machine...this could be your problem.

Thanks! That site is a real help.I think the flappers and the Accumulator Filter will do the trick.
