Eliminating mold in ice maker

I have an Edgestar (model IB450SS) undercounter ice maker that has developed some brownish mold. The manual says to clean the inside of the ice maker with a solution of 1 oz bleach and 2 gal of hot water (95-115 degrees F). I sprayed the interior about a month ago with bleach and left the unit open to the air for almost 3 weeks. The mold appeared to be gone, but has redeveloped after about 2 weeks of operation. What procedure should I use to get rid of this mold once and for all?

I read somewhere long ago.......lemon juice. I can't vouch for it though.

What will work is a vapor steam cleaner. The hot steam will kill all mold and sterilize the unit. Not the cheapest method but almost guaranteed to work.

You can check them out on amazon.
