Kenmore washer - tub not lining up with water dispenser

When my washer fills with water, a lot of water goes over the basket rim and into the outer tub or directly onto the floor. I can jimmy the basket back into position, but it gets off again the next agitation or spin. Why is my tub not centered correctly? Or is it that my water dispenser is not centered correctly?
This picture shows the water dispensing correctly. This is not a picture of my washer.

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

Welcome to the forums.

We'll need a model number for your Kenmore machine.

We'll need to determine what holds your tub in place. You may possibly have a broken spring.

Kenmore model # 110.22952100. It spins and somewhat drains (sometimes the clothes were still wet and soggy after the cycle stopped, but this doesn't always happen). There are no clunking noises and the washer is already level on the floor. I made sure that it was level before I posted.

Look under washer (lean back against wall) should see 4 springs 3 around tub and 1 going from tub to base in back. Also look for a streak of oil about 6 inches up from bottom around cabinet inside. If any springs broken or not attached let us know. Moist likely the spring in back is bad. Oil around cabinet means you need a top seal, clutch and drive coupler. Here is a link to parts

All but seal .let us know and can direct you to rest of parts.
