Admiral dryer.....2 issues?

The dryer is probably 10 yrs old and starting to make the same noise it did when before I changed the blower wheel a few years ago. Checked everything again. Blower wheel seems tight, no slop in the bearing on the shaft, shaft in the motor is still tight, no wobble there. One of the drum rollers seems a bit tight but no more loose in the bearing than the other. Like I say, its making that very same racket it did when the bearing in the blower wheel went out and there was all kinds of slop.

Also the timer has to be pushed 2 or 3 times every now and then to start it. Got to replace that whole unit? Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.

You changed the blower wheel years ago due to bearing noise ??
Bearing in the blower wheel ??

The blower wheel screws unto the motor so any noise would be coming from the motor bearings.

If you can't tell where the noise is coming from....trying running it without the belt on. It's more than likely the drum rollers..... they are notorious for making noise if they get dried out.

A model number would be helpful too.
