Did you replace it with an ice maker from the same manufacturer as the fridge or did you purchase an aftermarket ice maker ?

It's very rare to have wiring issues with the ice maker. Usually the only problem you'll have is that the plug is not wired the same way or the water fill valve is defective.

Has the unit been in and on at least 24 hours ?
You don't have the metal arm up that shuts the ice maker down when bin is full..... do you ?

Sometimes by raising and lowering the arm several times will start the unit.
Try reaching in and see if there is ice in the tray.

No.....water doesn't flow at turn on.

The ice tray must completely reach below 10 degrees and then unit will go into a harvest cycle. At the end of the harvest cycle comes the water fill up.
