Sears Kenmore Freezer Question

Hi, we have a Kenmore model# 25326442100 freezer that worked great until we had a power brown out where the voltage dropped to about 80vac until it was corrected.

An online Sears wrote: "Check the defrost timer. Manually advance the defrost timer with the knob to see if turns the freezer on. The defrost time is located in the outside back of the freezer. If the freezer turns on you have a bad timer. You can also disconnect the timer and jump two wires to turn on freezer. You need a wire diagram of your freezer. Usually white and yellow or yellow and blue. This will activate the cooling cycle. Low voltage can destroy ac motors and compressors. I would check the winding in the compressor. Check your main thermostat. "

And though my freezer is indeed frost free, I can't find the "defrost timer" that he refers to. I'm kind of stuck in that space where I'm trying to explore the inexpensive options toward fixing this freezer before I just go buy another one so as not to have any expensive service call only to have to do a major purchase afterward. So does anyone know more about this defrost timer location for this particular model, by chance? TIA

Your freezer doesn't have the contemporary mechanical defrost timer. Your unit uses an electronic control board. That board can keep your freezer from running.

In the link below is the control board. The FSP #297282800 can be used to look for online parts suppliers or your local appliance parts center.
