Transporting an electric stove

I am picking up a new (to me) Whirlpool electric 30" range in a few days. I don't have a truck but it will fit into my SUV laying on it's back. Will tipping the stove onto its back hurt anything on the stove? I can't see why it would but you never know with things like this. Thanks for your reply.

Shouldn't...as long as the elements don't flip out if you hit a big bump. Take the racks out first of course.

That's kinda what I thought too. Never thought about the racks. Will remove them. Thanks.
