Frigidaire Electric Glass Top stove
Would like some thoughts on my situation. Found this stove on Craigslist for 80.00, but the catch is the oven doesn't work. Stove works fine.
Should I take a chance on being able to repair it? Seller doesn't know the problem as to why it won't work.
Looking at worst/best case scenario.

Probably a broiler element on top and a bake element at the bottom. Are both bad?
Could be a number of things including bad switch, broken element(s) or circuit board (depending on model).

Like goldstar mentioned......it could just be an element....... maybe a 50.00 repair.
Or it could be temperature sensor or circuit board...... maybe a 175.00 repair.
If the unit was in mint condition I would probably go for it.
