Kenmore Elte Ice Dispenser is frozen
Kenmore Elite Side-by-side makes ice fine and puts into the dispenser but sometimes the ice melts and refreezes while in the dispenser which then mkes the dispenser unable to move and churn ice out from the dispenser in the door. The only way to get it out is to chip away from above (inside) and from below (outside).
However, this time too much ice is frozen. How do we thaw this out? We are unable to remove the caddy because the ice is frozen in one chunk, basically "gluing" the caddy to the dispenser stuff beneath it.

Welcome to the forums.
I'm trying to picture what is stuck. It sounds like you are going to need hot water or a blow dryer to remove the bin. Careful not to melt the plastic.
Is the ice in the bin melting from air coming in the chute or is the ice maker leaking water ?
