"LE" error on LG Dishwasher

"LE" error on LG Dishwasher
It is a 5 year old LG LDF7932ST dishwasher. During the first 20 minutes of running it sounds pretty rough. Like a propeller in a large fan with a straw contacting it. It runs about 20 minutes then it kicks off...the two indicator lights on front light up and flash.
Great timing as I just replaced our washing machine saturday and spent saturday and sunday diagnosing my dryer. Which was made possible by helpful people on this forum.

I thought the name looked familiar.
The code LE usually refers to a motor problem. Based on yours making noise you may have something caught in the pump impeller. The following video shows removing the filter assembly that will allow you to access the impeller area.

The LG dishwashers are also plagued by broken door wiring but since you hear the pump running it appears the wiring is ok.
I left a video link showing the process of removing the sump assembly. It doesn't appear that it can be serviced but that it gets replaced as a unit.
