Question Fridge and freezer not quite cold enough

We recently given a used KitchenAid KSRS25ILSS01. It was working/running when we went to pick it up, although it was empty and we didn't check the inside temp it 'felt' cool/cold.

We brought it home, cleaned it up and plugged it no. Powered up but wouldn't cool. Determined the compressor wasn't coming on (it was before we brought it home). Replaced the start components. Compressor came on unit started to cool.

Fast forward to 2 weeks later - neither the fridge or freezer have ever gotten quite cool enough. This unit has a digital temp setting, we have the freezer set at zero and fridge at 33 - both are the lowest settings. The freezer is about 8 degrees and the fridge is at 38-40.

Nothing blocking any of the vents. The fan in the back of the unit next to the compressor is running. There is air flowing in both the fridge and freezer. There is no ice build up on the coils in the back of the freezer.

Ideas? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums.

Replaced the start components.
Bit of a tricky job

Does the compressor cycle or does it appear to run continuously ?
If it runs continuously.... remove the evaporator cover and see if the copper lines supplying the coil are icing up or if one corner of the coil is icing.
