Maytag Electric Range won't maintain heat

I have a Maytag MER8674 Electric Range that's 18 months old. It will start to heat up to a desired temp then won't maintain the heat even though the display says otherwise. It didn't get hotter than 200 degrees then I replaced the oven sensor. Now it heats to, say 350, but shortly there-after doesn't maintain the 350 temp, seems more like 100 degrees. The lower heating coil looks in tact and isn't pitted. Any ideas?

THANKS in Advance!

You've only left me a partial model number.

My hunch is a defective control board. A bad relay or poor solder, in particular.

The only part left of the model number is B for Black range. How do I troubleshoot which one it is?

MER8674B is not a valid model number.

The full Model number is MER8674AB 0

Any ideas what to check for first? The oven does heat but does not hold the heat and typically not up to 375 degrees.

TIA!
