Samsung side by side refrigerator not freezing, but fridge side works.

I own a 2009 Samsung RSG257AARS side by side refrigerator.

It stopped freezing food while the fridge side is still cooling. Freezer's temp is higher than the fridge side - is this even possible? I thought the cold air from the freezer cools the fridge part.

I tried unplugging the refrigerator for three days and turned it back on, but now the freezer is 77F degrees while the fridge is 45F degrees (set to -4F/34F).

I tried opening the panel inside the freezer, and the evaporator coils were very clean with no frosting. The fan seems to work because I checked the air coming out when the door was closed. (yes, I locked myself inside the freezer to check).

Please help. I have no idea why the freezer is not working while the fridge side is.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not familiar with this fridge and am trying to locate the correct service manual.
