Bosch SHE3AR55UC/08 Not draining

Hi,

I have a Bosch SHE3AR55UC/08 dishwasher that doesn't always drain at the end of the cycle. When I open the door, there is standing water above the filter.

However, if I close the door, run a cycle again, but this time quickly cancel out, I hear the vibe pump kick in and when it finally finishes from the cancelled cycle, the water is gone.

So it's clearly not clogged..

Any ideas ?

Thanks !

J

Welcome to the forums.

Have you removed the cover over the filter to see if it's clean below there ?

Another common drain problem is the drain line is not run high enough to the drain. See the illustration below.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

The machine is capable of draining. I do not believe something is preventing it from draining.

The reason I say this, is because if I run the cycle again and abort it, the water that was remaining from the previous cycle is now drained.

Thanks

If your certain everything mechanical is ok......then that leaves the control board as suspect.

That was my thinking as well.. I hope we are both wrong because I can't seem to find a controller board anywhere. They better not be discontinued.

I will try using a different cycle from Auto and see if that helps.

Thanks again for the reply. I appreciate it.
