whirlpool washer, model# wtw5100vq2

I want to know what is wrong with my washer. It water comes in but it do not wash, rinse, or spin. What can I do? Please help. ....

Looking at washer the left hinge. There are 2 screws that need to be tightened. If they are missing part # 10 in diagram. Let us know what you find out.

I was composing while pugsl was submitting. He's right, check those screws first.

Most likely a faulty lid switch.

We have an 18 month old front loading Maytag washer. It has two error codes that just started blinking non stop which are: F3 E2 According to the diagnostic guide and the internet, that means the Water Temperature Sensor is bad. We pulled off the top panel and unplugged every single wire connector and re-seated them to make sure vibration didn't cause any issues. We also made sure that none of the wires inside the chassis may have rubbed themselves raw/cut on areas where the factory zip ties were tight. We made sure the unit is getting hot and cold water properly. There's a sensor that drops in right where the hot water hose connects and goes through a 90 degree angle inside the unit. I was assuming this was the water temperature sensor for hot water, as there's a cold water one on the other bend/hookup. However, I can't seem to find any diagrams for this unit online, so for all I know thats something different. Either way, can anyone offer any suggestions on what we could do to troubleshoot this further and/or get it up and running? Hey everyone, Hello. This is my first time posting here and I'm slightly desperate. A few weeks ago the washer stopped spinning but still went through all the cycles. I saved up some money, did some research, and ended up replacing the motor coupler. The washer now spun when empty but not when anything was in it. So I replaced the clutch band and the break cam driver. The washer spun through one load and when I went to put the second load in, same problem, it didn't spin. I took the clothes out and tried to go through an empty cycle to see if it would spin while empty and now it doesn't go through the rinse or spin cycle and won't drain. So I have a washer full of water that won't drain, rinse, or spin and am at a complete loss. When I let the washer cycle through, the timer gets to the rinse cycle and makes a clicking noise. When I put it on the spin cycle it makes no noise at all. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Read More
