Hooking up a different brand ice maker to a refridgerator

Hey guys, so I have 3 spare ice makers but none of the wire harnesses that connect to the refridgerator fit the harness coming off of the fridge. Is there a way that I can test what each wire is coming off of the fridge (or pull up and wire diagram) and do the same for ice maker and just rewire the ice maker to the fridge that way? I don't see why this wouldn't be able to be done?
Thanks as always in advance
Anthony

The wiring diagram for your fridge is somewhere in the fridge. It could be under the front removable kick plate or underneath in the back with the compressor.

Wiring is only one issue with subbing ice makers. The location of the fill tube is critical as well as the water fill time.

They use four wires....
120vac hot in
120vac neutral in
ground
120vac hot out to fill valve.
