The flashing scrub light on this model means that the touch pad has detected an internal short in the touch pad itself.

It may have gotten wet. Try turning power off to the dishwasher for 24 hours to see if drying it out fixed it.

I was quoted 170 for the main circuit board with a 30 dollar core charge if i bring the other board in. Does this seam like a reasonable price? Also is this what i need i talked to a parts store and he said main circuit board (not sure how many circuits there are), and if anyone has the part number i would appreciate it!

The plastic strip will pull out of black block or the black block will pull off pins. Usually strip will pull out of black block. Be genital.

touch pad has detected an internal short in the touch pad itself.
That was in my post. The touch pad..... not the control board. Although since the problem can occur on either board be sure you purchase it from a parts retailer that will take it back if it's not the problem. Water can get in the keypad, the connecting ribbon cable and the connecting plug on the control board.

That is why I said to check part. Was not sure control board was seperate from user interface. Ribbon cable goes to interface. I had one I took apart and put paper between what was touching and was able to get it working but only had 1 cycle. Not sure yours would do that.
