Plastic Tube popping out of refrigerator

Just bought a fridge off Craigslist (I know, I'm an idiot, but it's already done), and I'm having some trouble with the water line that runs through the fridge. I've attached it fine on the back side of the fridge. My issue is with the plastic tubing running from the back of the fridge up to the front ice and water dispenser. The plastic tube comes out of the base grill and goes up into the freezer door, far left side. The tube has no attaching mechanism though and just slots up into the hole, so as you would expect, when I use the water dispenser, after about 15-20 seconds of holding it down, the tube pops out and water gets all over the floor.

Am I missing a piece, or what is an appropriate way to attach this plastic tube into the hole on the bottom of the freezer door? I've googled to try and figure this out for the past couple hours. Someone please help.

It is a Kitchen-Aid side-by-side, model # KSRB25FKSS02.

Thank you!

Welcome to the forums.

I'm looking into this for you. Please double check your model number for me too.

Usually there is a short piece of 1/4" line that comes out of bottom of door and then there is a push in coupler to connect the lines.

I've located a video for you. See if it looks like what you have. The water line should connect to the dispenser, travel thru the door, pass thru the hinge and get connected with a push-in splice fitting.
