cracked ceramic top of electic range

I have Frigidaire electric range with ceramic top and I cracked it by stepping on it. I was advised to use J-B Weld epoxy that resist temperature up to 600 F. I tried to glue the crack with this epoxy. It holds at the places off hitting element but it doesn't hold on hitting element itself. Is there another glue that will hold much higher temperature, at least 1200C or more?

I don't think there is anything that is going to work for that.

Can't imagine anything you could buy would be effective. Sounds like time for replacement.
