Kenmore 106.51792410 refrigerator not staying cool!

I have a Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator (Model #106.51792410) that is not staying cold. A week ago, I noticed the LED light inside the refrigerator and freezer was out and discovered that the outlet wasn't working (separate issue). I plugged the refrigerator into an outlet that does work and everything seemed fine. Everything was staying cold like it should. But then a couple days later, my refrigerator just isn't staying as cold as it should be. On the coldness dial, it was at a 3 (recommended setting) so I turned it to 4. It still doesn't seem to be any colder. I can't feel any cold air coming out of the air vent inside the refrigerator. The freezer part isn't as frozen as it should be either. I mean I still have ice cubes and everything is frozen, but it probably could be more. I'm more worried about the refrigerator part. The milk doesn't taste good so I had to dump it out and am going to have to get rid of some of the items. The refrigerator runs, just doesn't stay cold. Any helpful ideas on why it's not staying cold and what I can do?

Welcome to the forums.

A thermometer is an excellent way to tell what the fridge and freezer temp is. The fridge should be around 40 and the freezer should be around 0.

If you don't feel any cold air coming out of the vent then the first step would be to remove the cover over the coil in the freezer to see what the fan is doing.

Make sure under the fridge where the compressor, the condensor coils and the condensor fan is clean.

I also need you to check the model number as it doesn't appear to be correct.

The sticker inside the refrigerator says model number 106.51792 410. I don't know if that 410 is part of the model number. There's a space before the 410. I purchased 2 thermometers to put in both the refrigerator and the freezer. I put the knobs back down to a 3 (recommended.) After 24 hours, the freezer shows 25 degrees and the refrigerator shows 65 degrees. I moved the knobs to a 4 (colder) and it still shows the same temperatures.
