Maytag dryer drum will turn but not with a load in it.

I have a 7 year old Maytag MED9600SQ0 dryer, I put clothes in it to dry and the motor makes a humming sound but the drum does not turn. I took all the cloths out and restarted the dryer. The drum will spin but acts like it has a soft start before coming up to speed.
I bought a new motor and installed it last night ($130.00 Ouch!), still same problem.....Help!!!

Just to get it right in my mind. When you push start button you get a hum and than dryer will start, but with a load it just hums? Try this with a load in it tape door switch down , push start button and turn drum in direction of travel. If starts you have a bad motor again. Fairbanks may be in later and see if he has anything different to add. Standard Whirlpool HE dryer.

Finally figured out what was wrong with the dryer. Found the neutral loose in the breaker box.
