Samsung bottom freezer Mod. # RB195ACBP/ XAA

The door ajar alarm will not reset. It's constantly beeping. Beeps 11 times every 50 seconds. Some background: The fridge sat in my garage for over a year, with both doors off. When we decided to bring it upstairs, we cleaned it, plugged it in, put the doors on and the beeping hasn't stopped since. Both fridge and freezer door seals are in excellent condition. I tried resetting the control panel by holding both the Power Freeze and Power Cool to no avail. Any Owners manual I've been able to find online has been no help. Am I over-looking something simple? I'd be happy if I could just snip a wire and silence the beeps.

All the contact info is on their site. There is even a live chat.

Tried the live chat. It was a joke.

Just tried live chat again. He wanted to sell me a service manual. But he did tell me there's a wiring diagram underneath, something the previous chat agent refused to do, so I'll check that out.

Found absolutely no mention of the door ajar alarm in the owners manual.
I would think that the doors could be out of line and that the interior light may also still be on.

Live chat

I was trying to find a copy of the service manual floating around.... no luck.

What's wrong with a live chat, with a tech? It's certainly worth a shot as is all the other contact info, on that page.

All they do in live chat, it seems, is read from the owner's manual. I got tied up yesterday, so today I will move the fridge and try to find the wiring diagram. Both doors are lined up nicely, seals are in excellent shape with no cracks whatsoever. I even removed seals completely and reinstalled them. Still beeping away.

Live chat with a tech is ideal. A live chat with a call center overseas is normally what you get.

Don't waste any more time. Either call, email or try the chat. I would call first. Are you sure that the doors are causing the beep?
