Ge oven quits

Have a GE range J2S968. Oven stops in use. Used fault keys and display show "707" in temp and "0707" in time. Is this the famous F7 fault or something different?

The F7 problem is a keypad failure which may or may not be related. Typically a three digit code would mean a control error/failed processor. That would indicate a defective clock board.

I would try turning the power off to the oven for several hours to see it that resets the board.

I'll check further.
