GE dryer element replacement

I need to replace an element on an old GE dryer. I have ordered the elements but I am worried about how the old element looks like it is pressed, soldered or somehow affixed to a porcelain connecter.
How do I replace this with what I assume will be a element with spade connectors.
Thanks in advance.
David

Not sure how anyone would know without a model #.
How do you know it's the element?
Been on repairclinic.com and checked out the trouble shooting and videos on how to change it yet?

Like Joe mentioned...... a model number would be really helpful.

What did you order..... the element restring kit ?
It's not a hard job... takes a little time. The critical thing is that the individual coils cannot touch each other or metal as that will create a short.

Here's a pretty informative video on restringing the element.

Most GE dryers come with the coil attached to the medal dish. Without model # best I can help.

You can get the whole pan for roughly $100 or the restring kit for under $25. Your call.

The whole pan is WE11X103
The restring kit is WE11X203
