GE refrigerator control panel problem

I have TFX27PF GE refrigerator. The control panel is stopped working on a freezer door. I thought to change the door but it is not available. GE is not making them any more. I phoned several repair companies and they don't have parts for this door. It is possible that it has some kind of fuse for protection but you never know until you try. Is any body knows how to take a part the freezer door to see what happened to the control panel. I would appreciate any help.

Here is a break down of your ref. There are some more numbers on back of model # but I think any of these will work.

What exactly has stopped working ? Ice dispenser, running water, freezer/fridge light, etc.

You don't change the door if the electronics aren't working.
When you replace the door.... you get just a door with absolutely nothing attached to it.

There is a control board that may be the source of your problems.
Please post the complete model number for me.

Another common problem is a broken wire in the hinge that carries power to the door.

I'm trying to find a wiring diagram for your unit. There may be one underneath the unit, possibly rolled up and possibly in a bag.

The model number is TFX27PFSMAA. The control panel is completely black. No diagnostic. The control panel stopped working after power outage and when power come back the control panel remained dark, no lights. When I press the ice/water dispenser the ice/water light bulb is turning on and the ice is trying to get out. No water. I cannot switch to a water. No diagnostic light on the control panel itself. It is completely dark. I thought to take the door apart and see what happened. But I have no idea how to take the freezer door apart. Is there any manual or youtube available that can show how to take apart the freezer door?

Thank you for sending me parts listings. But the parts listing doesn't show how to take a part control panel and remove it from the door. Also, many parts of control panel show as not available. Is there a service manual thta show how to take a part the control panel?

There is not a service manual online for your fridge that I can locate. In the following link.... go all the way to the bottom and they have a video of servicing the control panel assembly for the ice door.

Have you tried unplugging your fridge since the power outage ?
You could try unplugging it for 10 minutes and then plugging it back in.

Thank you, you sent me to a right site. I just need to find a new control panel that is not available. It is not the unplugging problem, it is probably control panel burned off. Thank you again.

There are two parts to the system. One is the control board, that is inside the fridge or on the back, and the other is the display/switch board on the front.
