Frigidaire side by side FRS6HR5JWO not cooling
Hello everyone, I have the above side by side refrigerator, I first noticed that the freezer was not as cold as it needed to be, and the refer is running a tad bit warmer. When I removed the the cover for the coils inside the top row was all iced up, the fan is still working. After searching the Internet I ended up replacing the thermostat or and the heating element, but neither has helped the problem

After you changed the above parts and put the unit back in service... did it work ok and for how long ?
Did it appear that defrosting the unit help the problem ?

You started with a clean evaporator coil so the defrost cycle won't actually be needed for a day or two.
You said the fan in the freezer was running.
Have you cleaned and vacuumed the coils under the fridge ?
Clean and check the fan down there..... make sure it's running.
Lastly.... is the compressor cycling or is pretty much running continuously ?
