Frigidaire side by side FRS6HR5JWO not cooling

Hello everyone, I have the above side by side refrigerator, I first noticed that the freezer was not as cold as it needed to be, and the refer is running a tad bit warmer. When I removed the the cover for the coils inside the top row was all iced up, the fan is still working. After searching the Internet I ended up replacing the thermostat or and the heating element, but neither has helped the problem , any help would be greatly appreciated.

After you changed the above parts and put the unit back in service... did it work ok and for how long ?

Did it appear that defrosting the unit help the problem ?

I haven't noticed any difference as of yet, everything is still running, but not cooling.

You started with a clean evaporator coil so the defrost cycle won't actually be needed for a day or two.

You said the fan in the freezer was running.
Have you cleaned and vacuumed the coils under the fridge ?
Clean and check the fan down there..... make sure it's running.
Lastly.... is the compressor cycling or is pretty much running continuously ?
