Kitchenaid dishwasher: diagnostic sequence

I have model KUDS30FXBL1.

A few years ago, it wasn't working properly (it did not complete all cycles) I found the re-set sequence on-line somewhere, and it has worked correctly ever since. Until now....

I need to run the re-set again, but I cannot find it for this model.

Anyone know what it is?

Thanks,

Paul

I assume at that time you put the machine into service diagnostic mode. There is a series of step you need to follow to run all the way thru the test.

The basic is... Press these keys in the sequence 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3 with no more than 1 second between key presses. All lights should come on. Using the START key will advance you thru the tests and reset all operating parameters to original.

The tech sheet for your dishwasher should be behind the lower kickplate. The diagnostics are on there. If you'd like.... send me a PM with your email address and I can send it to you.

Model KUDC101XWH1 but the lights don't flash when I touch them in sequence

I have Model KUDC101XWH1 but the lights don't flash when I touch them in sequence. I had been told by a technician to hit any 3 keys in sequence 1,2,3 3 times and then hit cancel. It had worked in the past. Is this a difference between models or am I having a different problem? Thank you!

Welcome to the forums.

Different models have different diagnostic routines.
Did you remove the kick plate and look for the tech sheet ? It'll have the routine on it.

Yes, it says to perform while in standby: Not sure what that is or how to get there.
Said, Press any 3 keys in the sequence 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3 with no more than 1 second between key presses. The Service Diagnostics Cycle will start when the door is closed." Does this mean that I press the keys when the door is opened? So far it hasn't worked. (Whether opened or closed) When I press the keys in succession they do not light up. Does that indicate another problem?

It also says, "To rapid advance 1 interval at a time, press the start Resume key. Rapid advancing may skip sensor checks as some checks require 2 complete intervals." Is this the direction I should head. Thank you.

Does anything light up ? Possibly the thermal fuse opened.

Yes, the Start/Resume & Wash Buttons are blinking and intermittently beeping. The rinse button is lit but no longer blinking. The control lock is not lit up unless I am touching another button. None of the other buttons light up when I touch them.

Door is closed when you push buttons.

It's working!

My daughter came home. She pushed the control button for 4 seconds instead of the 3 seconds labeled on and it started! It will only let me use the normal wash cycle. Any suggestions? Thank you

I can't tell from parts diagram but it looks like push button control. One of buttons may be stuck on or not working.

I ran the diagnostic sequence on my model W10579093A, but have no idea what the results mean. I cannot interpret the code table.
All lights come on and stay on for several seconds
The different wash cycles come on independently for a second
Eventually the Normal and High Temp Wash Flash
Unit then starts an Express Cycle automatically

Help?
